a little thoughtfulness goes a long way.

there i was teaching something monumental, probably even life changing, when i heard a knock on my door.

there was miss kandi from the office with a surprise for me.

i had no idea who it was from, so i opened the card to see the sweetest message from new friend kim. 

she said she was thinking of me and praying for a great school year. 

i tried to explain to my students how happy it made me.

"guys. look at this plant. isn't is awesome!" 

unfortunately for me, i don't have any future botanists, so they were less than enthused. 

but it didn't matter, i was smiling like a weirdo and so thankful to have such a thoughtful friend.
