this is what happens...

when you buy a new camera and have no children and your dog is your only model.

that scowl really photographs well, don't you think:)

{p.s. i edited these photos with the lightroom collection from a beautiful mess. for only 10 bones, i am very pleased.}

kayla and ryan: maternity

i had such a great time yesterday with kayla and ryan, exploring their neighborhood and snapping photos along the way.

they are expecting their first baby in just a couple months, and i am so excited for them.

i have no doubt that they will be amazing parents.

and since kayla and i are in book club together, i know that baby will definitely be a reader!

enjoy some of my favorite photos from our time together.

kevin and emily: engaged.

yesterday morning, bright and early, i set off for a morning of engagement photos with kevin and emily.

they were the perfect couple to photograph.

a lot of fun, always good for a laugh, and completely adorable together.

we explored pearl street and a little bit of baker and finished off the morning with a delicious brunch at the denver biscuit company.

enjoy some of my favorites from our time together.
