it's not just any riot. it's a ra ra riot.

i was privileged enough to see these guys/girlies last night live.

and wow.
there was a 60 year old woman dancing like a wild woman if that tells you anything.

the whole time i couldn't help thinking, "why didn't i ever learn to play the violin/cello and join a band? i could be...so...cool."

but alas, i'm just a nerdy middle school teacher.
and yet still cool enough to stay up until midnight on a monday for the sake of some good music.
