Jaozi Party

I've been working on this post for days (literally) trying to upload pictures of our Monday night jiaozi making party, and these two are all the internet has so graciously decided to upload as of yet. Stay posted for more pictures soon...(get it, it's a blogger joke).

I must admit I am pretty terrible at making jiaozi despite my best efforts to craft the dough. Fortunately, Heather and Nancy (the students who headed up the cooking and who I absolutely adore) were gracious with me and made up for all my ugly ones with their beautiful creations. I guess living in China for over a year doesn't make you Chinese enough to make decent jaozi.

Gosh, I love these girls.
